Now as the warm winds blow clouds puffy in the sky, the old thunder (in Estonian: kõu) is already spinning himself a grey fur coat to rush to its folks at the village of Vana-Roosa and have a mighty thunderstorm for the people to charge their batteries! The slope of the valley is about to burst into bloom as we look forward to having you join us on our audio-visual journey taking place for the 6 th year in a row.
KÕU is a cross-cutting festival, linking various fields of art that range from underground music and street art to installation art. The music performed at KÕU festival is mostly of alternative nature, including house, tech-house, techno, drum and bass, jungle, psytrance, ambient, electro-jazz, etc. The 7 stages are to host over 80 DJs from Estonia and abroad, Latvia and Finland among others.
The festival begins on July 5 at 6 p.m. and ends on July 7 at 12 noon.
